Korean Spicy Cuttlefish

Serves 12 as a side dish

Ingredients:
1 lb dried cuttlefish, thicker not thinner
1/2 C gochujang paste
1 T soy sauce
2 T sesame oil


2 T sake or shoju
1/2 C plus 2 T light corn syrup
2 T toasted sesame seeds

Method: Heat a med frying pan over med heat. Add all the ingredients, except for the cuttlefish and the sesame seeds. Add 2 T water and cook until bubbling. Turn off the heat, add the cuttlefish and quickly stir until everything is a uniform color. Place in a serving dish and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
