I need more parts
I'm so glade that I bought
              that New Yorker!
See the bolt!! Sometime in
the car's past, the hood was blow off the car. The owner
did a darn good quick fix on the hinges, but they still
didn't work well. Therefore, I am forced to replace the
              whole hood-spring-hinge system.

Off with
the junk and a lot of hammering.

On with
              the new.

Boy! I
hope this looks good and work right.

The
Passenger's side is by far the worst thing I have ever
              seen.

It took
me over an hour to reshape the mount. Not shown, but I had
to weld reinforcement plates because the metal was so thin
              and twisted.

Look,
              its holding.....
