1965/6 Midland Ross vacuum
              power booster
Was torn apart earlier for
inspection and my first words were, Yuck!! There was at
least a pint brake fluid in there.
Bellows and rear hub with
              the tail stock
The rear hub is removable
              by this C clip
Breakdown Schematic
Even though the rubber
softened up good, still a lot of bad parts

separating the rear push rod from the tail stock is not
easy. Be extremely careful that you don't break the
              bakelite tall stock

The
pushrod is coupled to the plunger by two Teflon rings. One
on the push rod and one in the plunger. Penetrating fluid
              helped great deal.

Over 20
hours of research to figure out how to separate those two.
In the end, I found nothing absolutely nothing. So
              educated guess!!

New
parts have been ordered. They set me back nearly $300, but
              so worth it.
